Samsung is expanding its web browser to desktop computers with the launch of a beta version of Samsung Internet for PC.

This move brings a familiar browsing experience from mobile to larger screens, making it easier for Samsung users to stay connected across all their devices.

The new desktop version is currently available only to users in the US and South Korea who join Samsung’s beta program. Once signed in with a Samsung account, users can sync their browsing history, bookmarks, and passwords between their PC, phone, and tablet. This seamless syncing feature ensures that you can easily continue browsing where you left off, no matter which device you’re using.

Samsung Internet for PC also includes an AI-powered browsing assist tool that can summarize webpages and translate text instantly. The browser supports Samsung’s smart anti-tracking technology, designed to block third-party trackers and pop-ups for a safer, more private browsing experience.

This isn’t Samsung’s first attempt to bring its browser to the Desktop. A version briefly appeared in the Microsoft Store in 2023, but it was later removed. With this new beta release, Samsung aims to offer a more polished and integrated experience, allowing users to move effortlessly between mobile and desktop browsing within the same ecosystem.
