X has introduced a new feature that allows creators to clearly label sponsored content using an official paid partnership tag.

Instead of typing hashtags like ad or sponsored to disclose a promotion, creators can now simply switch on a toggle when creating a post. Once enabled, a Paid partnership label appears at the bottom of the post, making the disclosure more visible and consistent.

The update was highlighted by X’s head of product, Nikita Bier, who showed how the label appears directly within the post. This change is designed to make brand collaborations more transparent and easier to understand at a glance.

By adding a built-in disclosure tool, X is giving creators a more straightforward way to follow advertising guidelines without relying on manual hashtags. It also helps audiences quickly recognize when content is part of a paid promotion.
