Elon Musk’s satellite internet service Starlink faced a brief outage on Monday, leaving thousands of users without connectivity.
According to Downdetector, nearly 40,000 reports were logged, with most users in the US and some in Colombia experiencing issues ranging from slow speeds to total blackouts. The company acknowledged the outage on its website but did not provide a reason.

Many frustrated customers turned to Musk’s social platform X to report problems, though services were restored after several minutes.
Starlink, which operates more than 6,750 satellites and serves users in over 150 countries, has faced multiple outages this year, including a major three-hour global disruption in July.
