Google has resolved a technical issue that caused live streams to get stuck on a loading screen for some users across web browsers and TV platforms.
The problem, which primarily impacted streams with monetization enabled, prevented content from playing when ads were triggered.
According to an update shared on April 14, 2026, affected viewers encountered a persistent loading spinner at the moment an ad was supposed to start. The issue was most noticeable on desktop browsers as well as TV apps, including smart TVs and gaming consoles.
Google confirmed that the bug has now been fixed, and live streams should load normally again. Users may need to refresh their player or restart the app to see the changes take effect.
