Google is launching a new ‘Manage subscriptions’ feature in Gmail to help users who are overwhelmed by promotional emails and newsletters.

This tool displays a list of active email subscriptions, ranked by the frequency of messages received, and offers one-click unsubscribe buttons next to each sender.

The feature is accessible from the Gmail navigation menu — simply click ‘Manage subscriptions’ to view your list. It highlights who sends the most emails and how many messages have arrived in recent weeks. Clicking a sender shows their email history, with an option to unsubscribe directly from the list.

This update is now rolling out on the web version of Gmail, with Android support beginning July 14 and iOS support coming July 21. The rollout may take a few weeks to reach all users and will be available to personal Gmail accounts, Google Workspace customers, and Workspace Individual subscribers in select countries.
