YouTube is offering its own end-of-year recap this season, giving users a fresh way to look back at the content they enjoyed the most.

While YouTube Music has provided a yearly recap for a few years now, the main YouTube platform is introducing a brand-new experience focused entirely on the videos you watched throughout the year.

The new YouTube Recap gives users up to 12 personalized cards showing their top channels, favorite topics, viewing habits, and even a personality type based on the kinds of videos they watch. For example, “Skill Builders” prefer content that helps them learn new things, “Sunshiners” enjoy uplifting videos, and “Trailblazers” watch original content that breaks the mold. Other types include the “Wonder Seeker,” the “Connector,” and the “Dreamer.”

Users will also see their top artists and songs of the year, though deeper music insights remain available in the separate YouTube Music Recap, which began rolling out last week.

The Recap feature launches today for users in North America, with global availability coming later in the week. It can be accessed from the YouTube homepage or under the “You” tab on both mobile and desktop. YouTube says many users requested a full platform recap, and the company tested more than 50 concepts before deciding on the current design.

In addition to Recap, YouTube shared trend charts for the year’s biggest names and content. MrBeast claimed the top creator spot for the sixth year in a row. “The Joe Rogan Experience” took the top podcast position, and Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga claimed the top song with “Die with a Smile.”
