Microsoft has rolled out a new update for the Xbox PC app, allowing all Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to stream games they own directly from the cloud.

Previously available only to Xbox Insiders, this feature now brings cloud streaming for owned titles—including some console-only games, to all eligible users on PC.

With this update, players can enjoy a smoother experience across devices, accessing their personal game libraries without needing to download each title. The move brings the PC experience in line with what’s already available on mobile, web, and console.

In addition, Microsoft confirmed in a new blog post that Xbox Insiders with Game Pass Ultimate can now preview a cross-device play history feature. This update lets players resume games exactly where they left off, even when switching between platforms. The feature is expected to be particularly useful for Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox handheld device, making game progress more portable than ever.
