Google has officially launched its AI-powered Search feature, known as AI Mode, in the United Kingdom.
The update adds a new tab in Google Search and a shortcut within the Google app on iOS and Android devices.
AI Mode is designed to deliver more advanced and conversational results using Google’s Gemini model. It allows users to search using text, voice, or images and provides a summarized response with sources by breaking down complex queries into smaller parts.
The feature first debuted in the United States in May 2025 and became available to all users by the end of June. Google says the UK rollout begins this week and will reach more users gradually.
