Microsoft is expanding its game streaming feature by bringing the “stream your own game” option to PC.

Xbox Insiders with a Game Pass Ultimate subscription can now stream the Xbox games they own, including some titles that are available only on console, directly from the Xbox app for Windows.

Previously, this feature was only available on Xbox Series X and S as well as Xbox One. Game Pass Ultimate users can also stream games through smart TVs, web browsers, smartphones, tablets, and Meta Quest headsets.

Adding this feature to a PC is especially useful for saving storage space. For example, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 requires around 128 gigabytes of SSD space, which can be avoided by streaming the game instead of downloading it.

Xbox currently supports streaming for more than 250 titles from user libraries, in addition to the games included with Game Pass. Microsoft says it plans to add more console-exclusive and Play Anywhere titles to the list soon.
