Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra has passed away at the age of 89.
Dharmendra had been discharged from Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on November 12, where he was said to be stable and recovering at home. At the time, Dr. Rajiv Sharma said the actor went home fully satisfied after getting the treatment he needed. He added that the family had arranged everything for his care and requested people not to spread false rumours but to pray for his recovery so he could celebrate his 90th birthday on December 8.
Before this, Dharmendra was admitted to the hospital on November 10, and sources had said his condition was critical and that he was on life support. On October 31, he was also under strict medical observation by top doctors at the same hospital.
