Samsung has officially confirmed that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on February 25. The annual launch for the Galaxy S-series is arriving a little later than usual this year, but the date is now set, and expectations are starting to take shape.

Based on a detailed leak published by WinFuture, this year’s Galaxy S26 lineup is expected to focus more on software improvements rather than major hardware changes. The standard Galaxy S26 is said to feature a slightly larger 4,300mAh battery, up from 4,000mAh last year, which could be good news for users who prefer a smaller flagship phone with better battery life.

The leak also suggests that all three S26 models will once again skip built-in Qi2 magnetic support, instead relying on compatible cases. Camera hardware is expected to remain largely the same, though the main camera and 5x telephoto lens may come with wider apertures, which should help improve low-light photography. Memory and storage options reportedly stay close to last year’s setup, with at least 16GB of RAM across the lineup, while the entry-level 128GB version of the standard S26 may be discontinued.

While Samsung has not officially confirmed any specifications, the event invitation heavily highlights Galaxy AI, strongly hinting that software and AI features will be the main focus of the presentation. With the launch just weeks away, it won’t be long before we find out how accurate these leaks really are and what Samsung has planned for its next generation of flagship phones.
