Pinterest is rolling out a new feature that lets users control how much AI-generated content appears in their feeds.

The tool allows users to adjust content categories — such as beauty, art, fashion, and home decor — to show more or less AI-created images.

The company notes, however, that the tool won’t completely remove AI-generated content. It only applies to “eligible image Pins” in select categories where AI visuals are most common.

Users can find the new “AI tuner” under Settings → Refine Your Recommendations → GenAI Interests. The feature is now available for Android and desktop users, with an iPhone rollout coming soon.

Pinterest first began addressing the issue of AI-generated posts in May 2025, when it introduced automated “AI modified” labels on pins. The company says it has since improved detection tools and made these labels more visible to help users better identify AI-created content.
