Windows 11 now supports automatic switching between light and dark modes — though you’ll need a Microsoft PowerToy to enable it.
The new Light Switch PowerToy lets you schedule when Windows switches modes, or even set it to change automatically based on sunrise and sunset.
It works similarly to the popular Auto Dark Mode app that’s been available for years, and you can choose whether to apply the change to the system shell, apps, or both.
