Netflix says it will roll out a redesigned mobile app by the end of April, introducing a vertical video feed as part of the update.
The company shared the news in its Q1 2026 earnings letter, explaining that the new design is meant to better reflect its growing range of content and make it easier for users to engage with entertainment whenever they want.
In the letter, Netflix pointed out that the gap between watching content on TVs and mobile devices is getting smaller. It highlighted how video podcasts are performing especially well on mobile, suggesting that viewing habits are continuing to shift toward phones. Co CEO Greg Peters had already hinted at these changes earlier this year, saying the company planned to refresh its mobile interface to support its long-term growth.
