MrBeast has taken his business empire into financial services.

Beast Industries, the company owned by the popular YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, has acquired Step, a mobile banking app designed for teens and young adults.

The acquisition comes just months after MrBeast revealed plans to launch a new YouTube channel focused on personal finance and investing. With hundreds of millions of subscribers across his platforms, Donaldson has built a massive audience largely made up of Gen-Z and Gen Alpha users, making Step a strategic fit for his brand.

Step is a digital-only banking app aimed at younger users who are just starting to manage money. It operates in a similar space to apps like Monzo and Revolut but focuses heavily on teens and first-time account holders.

The app has also attracted investment from well-known Gen-Z influencers, including Josh Richards and Charli D’Amelio, who has previously appeared in MrBeast’s videos.
