Apple is preparing to bring more AI-powered photo editing features to iPhones with iOS 27 later this fall.
The update will reportedly add a new section called Apple Intelligence Tools inside the Photos app editor, giving users quick access to smarter editing options.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the new tools will include Extend, Enhance, Reframe, and Clean Up. These features are designed to help users improve and adjust photos with AI directly from the Photos app.
Clean Up is the only AI editing tool currently available in the app. It launched last year, but in earlier testing it did not perform as well as Google’s Magic Editor.
