Google has released an emergency security update to fix another Chrome zero-day vulnerability actively exploited in the wild. This marks the eighth zero-day flaw patched in Chrome so far this year.

According to Google’s security advisory, the company is aware that an exploit for the issue—tracked internally as 466192044—is already being used in attacks. The update is now available for Windows (143.0.7499.109), macOS (143.0.7499.110), and Linux (143.0.7499.109) users.

While Google has not yet shared technical details or an official CVE ID, the bug remains “under coordination” until most users receive the patch. However, a Chromium bug report confirms that the vulnerability lies in LibANGLE, an open-source graphics translation library used by Chrome.

Users are strongly advised to update Chrome immediately. The patch may take days to reach everyone automatically, but you can install it manually through Settings → Help → About Google Chrome.
