Beyond Workspace, Gemini can also generate files in a wide range of formats like PDF, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, LaTeX, TXT, RTF, and Markdown. This means users can quickly create reports, datasets, formatted documents, or structured files without needing additional tools.
Previously, users often had to instruct Gemini to export content into Docs or other services before downloading. This update streamlines that process, making file creation more direct and efficient.
Google says the feature is rolling out to all Gemini users, making it easier to turn AI-generated content into usable files across both professional and personal workflows.
