Today, many players could not log in to Fortnite, Rocket League, and Fall Guys. The problem started around 6:39 PM ET and affected all platforms, including PlayStation and Nintendo Switch 2.
Epic Games said the issue also affected other games that use its online services. Players saw error messages or had to wait a long time to join games. Some streamers and tournament players were stuck and could not play.
Epic Games fixed the problem within a few hours. By 8:54 PM ET, most players could log in again. PlayStation users got access a little earlier, around 8:02 PM ET.
Epic says it will watch its systems to make sure this does not happen again.
