Firefox is bringing its “Shake to Summarize” feature to Android users, expanding a tool that first launched on iPhone last year.
With the feature, Android users can now shake their phone while viewing any webpage under 5,000 words to generate an AI-powered summary of the page’s content.
The feature is designed to make it easier for users to quickly understand articles or webpages without reading everything in full.
Mozilla is also giving users control over how they access the tool. Those who do not want to use the shake gesture can disable it completely. Users can also choose to tap instead by opening the three-dot menu, going to “More,” and selecting “Summarize Page.”
