Facebook appears to be facing a widespread disruption, with users in several countries reporting login failures, app loading problems and error messages while trying to access the platform.
The issue began drawing attention on Friday, June 12, 2026, after outage tracking platforms showed a sudden rise in user reports related to Facebook.
Many users said they were unable to log in, while others reported that the Facebook app was not loading properly or that certain features such as comments, reactions, groups and profiles, were not opening.
At the time of writing, Meta has not publicly confirmed the cause of the issue.
