Disney is raising the prices of its Disney+ and Hulu subscription plans once again, with new rates taking effect on October 21.
The price hike affects both standalone plans and bundles across the two streaming services.
The Disney+ plan with ads will go up by $2 to $11.99 per month, while the ad-free Disney+ Premium plan will rise by $3 to $18.99 per month. The annual Disney+ Premium subscription will also increase by $30, bringing it to $189.99 per year. On Hulu, the plan with ads will rise from $9.99 to $11.99 per month, while the no-ads premium plan will remain at $18.99. ESPN Select is also seeing a price bump, moving from $11.99 to $12.99 per month.
Bundles are not being spared either. The Disney+ and Hulu bundle with ads will increase by $2 to $12.99 per month, while the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Select bundle with ads will go up by $3 to $19.99 per month. Disney has posted the full list of new bundle prices on its support page.
The timing comes at a tough moment for the company, as Disney+ saw a wave of cancellations last week after the service temporarily pulled Jimmy Kimmel from its programming. Since launching in 2019 at just $6.99 per month, Disney+ has steadily raised its subscription fees.
The last price increase was announced in October 2024, when the ad-free plan rose from $13.99 to $15.99 and the ad-supported plan increased from $7.99 to $9.99.
