Amazon is reportedly working on a new “rush” pickup service that would allow customers to collect orders from its stores within an hour, according to Business Insider.
The feature would let shoppers place a unified order that combines products from Amazon’s online marketplace and its physical stores.
As retailers increasingly adopt rapid-delivery models to meet growing demand for instant commerce, Amazon is preparing to pilot the service in at least one major metropolitan area by early 2026.
However, the timeline may still change, the report noted.
