Adobe is expanding its professional editing tools to mobile with the launch of Adobe Premiere for iPhone, offering a more powerful alternative to the company’s existing Premiere Rush app.
The app will be available for free later this month, marking the first time Adobe has brought a full-featured version of Premiere to iOS devices.
The mobile version includes advanced features such as a multi-track timeline, automatic captions, AI-powered speech enhancement, and 4K HDR support. Creators can also use one-tap export tools optimized for platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram, with automatic resizing for each format.
Adobe is also integrating its Firefly generative AI, allowing users to create sound effects, images, and other assets directly within the app. A free library of fonts, sounds, and stock content is included, and exports will be watermark-free.
While the app will debut on iPhone, Adobe confirmed that an Android version is in development, though a release timeline has not yet been announced.
With this launch, Adobe aims to give mobile creators access to desktop-grade editing power on the go, making it easier to produce professional-quality videos without relying on a computer.
