NASA is set to make history with its first live Twitch stream from the International Space Station (ISS) on February 12 at 11:45 AM ET.

The event, streamed on NASA’s official Twitch channel, will feature astronaut Don Pettit, currently aboard the ISS, alongside Matt Dominick, who returned to Earth in October.

The livestream will offer insights into daily life aboard the space station and the groundbreaking research conducted in microgravity. Viewers will also have the opportunity to engage directly by submitting questions to the astronauts in real-time.

“This Twitch event from space is the first of many,” said Brittany Brown, Director of the Office of Communications Digital and Technology Division at NASA. She emphasized that NASA is responding to feedback from the Twitch community and plans to expand its live-streaming efforts beyond spacewalks, launches, and landings to include more interactive sessions.

Both Pettit and Dominick are known for capturing and sharing stunning space photography on social media. The upcoming stream promises to be an exciting experience for space enthusiasts, offering a closer look at life in orbit and NASA’s latest scientific advancements.
