Meta announced on Thursday that it is launching a new support hub designed to make it much easier for people to get help with Facebook and Instagram.

The company admitted that getting support in the past has not always been smooth, so this new space will bring everything together in one place. Users will be able to report account problems or try to recover an account they can no longer access, all from the same area.

Meta said that getting help should be simple and easy for everyone, and it knows that its support tools have not always lived up to that promise. The new hub is starting to roll out worldwide on both iOS and Android for Facebook and Instagram users.

The company also shared that it is developing a new AI assistant that will offer quick and personalized help, such as guiding people through account recovery or helping them adjust their settings. At first, this assistant will only be available on Facebook, though Meta says it is considering bringing it to its other apps later on.

One question that remains is how useful the hub will be for people who are already locked out of their accounts, since it is accessed through the apps themselves. Meta says it is working to fix this by improving the overall recovery process. The company is using AI to help people find the right recovery steps more easily and to better recognize the devices and locations where they have used the apps before.
