The tech giant Google will start showing anchor ads on a wider screen from July 19th, 2021.
“Based on feedback from publisher using anchor, we’ve updated anchor ads to support wider screen sized. Our experiments show that anchor ads perform well on wider screens.”
According to email received by Abijita Foundation
From July 19th, 2021, this ad format will start to appear on wider screens such as desktop devices.
Google said that the change will apply to all sites that have “anchor” enabled in users’ AdSense account.
There’s no action required from publishers for this change to take effect on their sites.
