Google is rolling out a new feature for Chrome on iOS that lets enterprise users switch between personal and work profiles with just a couple of taps, keeping data separate between the two.
Part of Google’s Chrome Enterprise offering, the feature is designed for companies that manage employee Google accounts. Users can now tap their profile icon in Chrome and switch between their work and personal profiles, similar to how it works on desktop. Browsing data like tabs, history, and passwords is isolated between the two profiles, offering better data management and security.

IT administrators also gain additional control, with the ability to generate security reports and restrict site access when users are browsing in their work profile.
While Android supports work profiles across the entire device—including Chrome—it doesn’t allow users to switch profiles from within the Chrome browser itself. And on both iOS and Android, non-enterprise users still can’t freely switch between Google accounts within the mobile version of Chrome, a feature currently limited to desktops.
