Google has introduced a new AI-powered Audio Summaries feature in Google Docs, designed to save time when working with long documents.
Powered by Gemini, the feature generates a spoken, condensed overview of a document, letting users grasp key points without reading everything line by line. It’s especially useful for reports, research files, and lengthy drafts.
The feature is rolling out gradually and is currently available to select business users and Google AI subscribers. Once enabled, it can be accessed directly from the Tools menu inside Google Docs.
