Samsung has started rolling out One UI 8.5 to Galaxy S25 owners in the US, bringing a major new file-sharing feature that lets users share files over AirDrop.
The update follows last week’s rollout in Korea and adds AirDrop compatibility for US Galaxy S25 users. It also includes several features that first arrived with the Galaxy S26, giving older flagship users access to Samsung’s latest software improvements.
Along with AirDrop support, One UI 8.5 brings an updated version of Bixby, AI call screening, and simpler AI-powered image editing tools inside Creative Studio.
