Mozilla is officially bringing tab grouping to Firefox, allowing users to organize tabs into labeled collections for easier navigation.
Users will be able to name and color-code tab groups, helping declutter the browsing experience, especially for those juggling dozens of tabs.

In addition to manual organization, Mozilla is also testing an AI-powered feature that suggests tab groupings and names based on the content of open tabs. This smart organization aims to make multitasking more intuitive.
According to Mozilla, tab groups were introduced in response to user demand—it was the most-upvoted feature request on Mozilla Connect, the company’s community feedback platform.
