Popular communication platform Discord has announced the impending shutdown of its AI chatbot, Clyde.
This decision comes just eight months after Clyde’s introduction, leaving many users wondering about the reasons behind this abrupt end.
Clyde, an experimental chatbot powered by OpenAI, was initially introduced in early 2023 with the intention of enhancing user interactions and providing a more engaging experience. However, despite its promising potential, Clyde’s journey has been cut short.
As of December 1st, users will no longer be able to interact with Clyde, either through direct messages, group messages, or server chats.
