A 37-year-old man named John Woeltz, who invests in cryptocurrency, has been arrested for kidnapping and torturing another man.
Police say the victim was held in a house in Manhattan for several weeks. During that time, Woeltz and another man allegedly beat and shocked him, trying to force him to give up his Bitcoin password.
The victim managed to escape and tell the police. Now, the police are looking for the second suspect involved in the crime.
