Cloudflare has just finished dealing with a short but widespread outage that caused several big websites and apps to go offline.
For about twenty minutes, services like LinkedIn, Fortnite, Coinbase, and even Downdetector stopped working for many people around the world.
This incident comes only a few weeks after another large outage in November, when problems at Cloudflare also briefly knocked platforms like X and ChatGPT offline. With two big disruptions happening so close together, it has ended up being a rough month for internet reliability.

Although everything is back online now, the repeated outages have raised concerns about how many major websites rely on Cloudflare and how easily a single issue can ripple across so much of the internet.
