OpenAI has introduced a new Temporary Chat feature in ChatGPT, allowing users to have conversations that won’t be saved in their chat history. This means once you close the chat, it’s gone!
For privacy reasons, OpenAI may keep a copy of the chat for up to 30 days to monitor for any policy violations. However, these chats won’t be used to train AI models.

Another key feature of Temporary Chat is that ChatGPT’s memory remains off during these sessions. This means it won’t remember past conversations or create new memories. However, if you have Custom Instructions enabled, ChatGPT will still follow them.
This update is great for users who want more control over their conversations and data privacy. Would you try it out? 🚀
