Brave browser has officially surpassed 101 million monthly active users and 42 million daily active users in September 2025, marking a major milestone in its growth.

Its privacy-focused search engine, Brave Search, has also grown rapidly, now handling 1.6 billion queries per month and over 20 billion annually, with about 8% of those searches coming from Chrome users.

The EU’s Digital Markets Act (DMA), which forced Apple to allow alternatives to Safari starting with iOS 17.4 in 2024, significantly boosted Brave’s adoption in Europe. The browser has been growing at a steady pace of around 2.5 million new users per month, outpacing most competitors.

Brave CEO Brendan Eich said the milestone represents more than just numbers — it reflects a global movement toward a better, privacy-first web. Alongside the browser and search, Brave’s AI tools are also gaining traction, with its “AI Answers” generating 15 million responses daily and the new Ask Brave feature expected to drive further growth.
