Bluesky is stepping up its game by allowing users to upload longer videos, extending the limit from one minute to three minutes.
One of the standout additions is the new “Chat Requests” feature, which functions similarly to the Message Requests system on X (formerly Twitter). When you receive a message from someone you don’t follow, it will appear in a separate section at the top of your inbox. From there, you can either approve or reject the message request. Additionally, Bluesky provides a helpful indicator showing if the sender has mutual connections with you, making it easier to identify potential relevant conversations.
In another user-friendly improvement, Bluesky has streamlined the process for muting accounts. Instead of navigating to a user’s profile, you can now mute someone directly from a post by tapping the three-dot menu and selecting “Mute account.” This small yet effective change makes content moderation more convenient for users who want better control over their feeds.
