Binance recorded $3.64 billion in net customer outflows during the first nine and a half hours after it reopened withdrawals on November 1, equal to 2.1% of its reported $171 billion in assets. The exchange said withdrawal volumes eased after an initial spike while deposits remained substantial.

Between 06:00 and 15:30 UTC, Binance processed about $4.65 billion in withdrawals and $1.01 billion in deposits, according to its official update. The exchange compared the net outflow with its October 28 proof-of-reserves snapshot. Reuters independently reported the same figures and said Binance was still restoring some withdrawals in phases.

The outflows followed the $6.3 billion theft Binance disclosed on October 29. The exchange said it had replenished about 95% of the stolen assets and would cover the remaining losses. The FBI’s attribution to North Korea-linked TraderTraitor and the exchange’s phased withdrawal reopening are covered in Abijita’s earlier reports.

The $3.64 billion figure is a snapshot of net flows during a specific 9.5-hour period, not a measure of all customer activity or a guarantee that every asset is currently withdrawable. Binance said withdrawals had begun to stabilize, but its recovery process remained in progress.
