The bug, which has been affecting devices running iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, has been causing Screen Time limits to reset unexpectedly. This has allowed kids to bypass the limits and spend more time on their devices than their parents intended.
“We are aware that some users may be experiencing an issue where Screen Time settings are unexpectedly reset,” the company was quoted as saying in the report.
“We take these reports very seriously and we have been, and will continue, making updates to improve the situation,” it added.
The company has not yet released a timeline for when the fix will be available, but it is expected to be released in a future software update.
