With the latest update, WhatsApp is rolling out a dedicated notification whenever a message is pinned. This means everyone in the conversation will immediately be alerted when a new pinned message is added, making it less likely that important announcements, reminders, or shared information will be missed.
The change is expected to improve communication in both personal chats and busy group conversations by ensuring pinned messages get the attention they are meant to receive.
