The U.S. Department of Justice has seized three U.S.-registered internet domains accused of illegally distributing copyrighted content.

The seized domains are zamunda.net, arenabg.com, and zelka.org, all of which allegedly offered unauthorized access to movies, TV shows, video games, software, e-books, and other protected works.

According to court documents supporting the seizure warrants, the websites attracted tens of millions of visits each year and hosted thousands of pirated works. Authorities say these platforms enabled millions of illegal downloads, causing losses worth millions of dollars in retail value. Despite being U.S.-registered domains, the sites were particularly popular in Bulgaria, with one regularly ranking among the country’s top 10 most visited websites. Investigators believe the operators generated significant revenue through online advertising due to the massive daily traffic.

The seized domains are now under the control of the U.S. government. Anyone attempting to visit the sites will see an official seizure notice informing them that federal authorities have taken over the domains and warning that willful copyright infringement is a criminal offense.
