Kurtaj was a key member of Lapsus$, a notorious hacking group responsible for high-profile breaches at companies like Nvidia, Ubisoft, and Rockstar Games, the developer of GTA 6.
“The judge said Kurtaj’s skills and desire to commit cybercrime meant he remained a high risk to the public. He will remain at a secure hospital for life unless doctors deem him no longer a danger.” BBC reports.
