Elon Musk-owned Twitter has officially adopted X.com for all its core systems.
Users who visited Twitter.com were automatically redirected to X.com, greeted by a pop-up notification acknowledging the URL change and reassuring users that their privacy and data protection settings remain unaffected.
This transition is the final step in Musk’s vision for rebranding Twitter into “X,” the “everything app” he has long envisioned.

The rebranding process has been gradual, with Twitter undergoing numerous changes in recent months. The platform’s official handle was changed from @Twitter to @X, the Twitter logo on its headquarters was replaced, and even the term “tweets” was replaced with “posts.” The most recent change, the domain switch to X.com, solidifies this transformation.
