Earlier today, the microblogging site Twitter was experiencing a worldwide outage affecting the web platform that prompts users to log out and prevents them from accessing tweets.
The site may redirect you to https://twitter.com/logout/error and display an error message stating that “Something went wrong, but don’t fret – it’s not your fault. Let’s try again.”
However, at 1:42 PM EST, Twitter’s support account tweeted that they have resolved the errors and users can log into the site again.
We’ve fixed this! Twitter for web should be working as expected again.

Now, the Twitter status page shows All Systems Operational.
