Snapchat has announced that it will start charging users who want to store more than 5GB of Memories.
The platform will introduce a new storage option, which costs $1.99 per month to store up to 100GB of past snaps.
For users who need even more space, Snapchat will include up to 250GB of storage with its Snapchat Plus plan and as much as 5TB of storage with its Snapchat Platinum subscription.
The company emphasized that the “vast majority” of users have less than 5GB of memory and will not be affected by this change.
