Samsung Electronics plans to double the number of its mobile devices equipped with artificial intelligence features powered by Google’s Gemini technology, its co-CEO has said.
By the end of last year, Samsung had rolled out Gemini-based AI features to around 400 million devices, including smartphones and tablets. The South Korean tech giant now aims to increase that number to 800 million devices in 2026.
Speaking to Reuters in his first interview since becoming co-CEO in November, mobile chief T M Roh said Samsung intends to apply AI across all products, functions, and services as quickly as possible. As the world’s largest supporter of Google’s Android platform,
