Reddit is rolling out a new feature that lets users hide ads from their feed for at least a year, the company announced in a post spotted by Ars Technica.

Once the update is available, users will see a “Hide” option for ads appearing in their home or subreddit feeds.

An eye icon with a line through it represents the option. If a hidden ad reappears later, users can hide it again.

The update is rolling out this week and will gradually become available on iOS, Android, and the Reddit website over the next few weeks.

Last year, Reddit introduced filters to limit ads from sensitive categories like alcohol, gambling, and politics.
