Mac users in the EU might soon gain access to Apple Intelligence, as suggested by the release notes for iOS 18.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.1.
While both sets of notes confirm that Apple Intelligence isn’t available in China, the iOS 18.1 notes specifically mention its current availability in the EU, according to 9to5Mac.
However, Apple has stated that it does not expect to launch Apple Intelligence in the EU this year due to regulatory concerns.
This cautious approach highlights the challenges of navigating the region’s complex regulatory environment, which often demands significant compliance efforts for new technology implementations.
