OpenAI has added new features to ChatGPT, including a ‘record mode’ that lets users capture meetings, brainstorm ideas, or even record their thoughts.

This tool helps people keep track of important conversations by creating notes and transcriptions.

ChatGPT can also connect to cloud storage services like Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Once connected, users can ask questions about the files stored on the server.

For example, someone might ask, “What was my company’s revenue in the first quarter last year?” or “How many times did I take the ferry during my Italy trip?”

OpenAI says that ChatGPT will organize the data clearly, respect user-level permissions, and even include citations from the documents it analyzes.

Right now, the recording feature is only available for users with a ChatGPT Team subscription. This plan costs $25 per person each month when paid yearly for at least two users. The feature offers notes with timestamps and suggested action points.

The cloud storage connection is available to users of ChatGPT Team, Enterprise, and Edu (a version designed for students).

Today, OpenAI says it has around 3 million paying business users, up from 2 million just a few months ago. The company is competing with other tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Anthropic, as they all work to offer the best AI tools to businesses. Experts believe the market for generative AI could grow to over $1 trillion in less than seven years.
