Microsoft has announced that it will officially deprecate its Monetize Now platform on October 15, 2025, as part of an effort to streamline its advertising services.

According to the company, the Monetize Now JavaScript will stop rendering ads after September 30, 2025. Users will also lose access to the platform’s portal (monetizenow.microsoft.com) once the shutdown is complete.

Microsoft confirmed that all outstanding balances will be paid out within 15 days, even those below the $100 threshold, through Stripe accounts linked to publishers.

The company has urged partners to download their final statements for tax purposes and ensure their payout details are active in Stripe before the shutdown.

While keeping the Monetize Now script on websites after the cutoff date will not impact user experience, Microsoft recommends removing the JavaScript snippet to ensure best practices and future compatibility.

Publishers with questions can refer to Microsoft’s FAQ or reach out to support at monetizenow@microsoft.com.
